Happy Birthday Dialogue
If I knew how Dialogue made it this far, I would be a brilliant man. I feel like Conan, when Will Ferrell was on his debut Tonight Show. He said to Conan repeatedly,
“No one thought you could do it. No one. No one thought you could do it. No one. I mean, not, ONE person. None”
Lol, I mean really. That’s how it felt on day one.
Everything was against us.
No one outside of the start up team really thought this dream would make it to the reality stage.
The finances didn’t match up.
What God had dreamed in Ryan’s heart for us to do, we just didn’t have enough people in the beginning that believed in the vision.
However, then God decided to repeat something He’s done once before.
You may remember it.
You see God at that moment decided to take another “loaf of bread and feed thousands”.
This journey, the journey of Dialogue Church, has been a journey full of stress, heartache, sprints up hill, while tumbling down others. However, this journey has also been full of witnessing love in the sense that love was created to be used. It’s been a place for people who are broken, to come and stand and weep before God. To not be scared of their sin, of their screw ups, of the mess/junk/chaos in their life. Anyone can simply walk through the doors of Forest Park, an elementary turned senior citizen building, and be welcome with open arms and grace. It’s been a place from the beginning that we will always strive to be different, but many times have fell flat on our faces in front of everyone, once again proving that we are also humans, in need of grace and hope, that is only going to be found in Christ. We have repeatedly stated that we do not know all of the answers, nor will we ever claim to. We do however, state that we are seeking His truth, through prayer, through His word, and through the life in which Christ lived on this earth and died on the cross for our lives.
This journey is not my journey, nor is it Allison’s, Ashlee’s, Ryan’s, Matt’s, Amanda’s, or anyone else’s at Dialogue Church. Nope, this journey is all of ours. We make up the body of Christ, and we all together make up Dialogue Church. In that alone I invite you to be a part of it also.
Below is a quick video of a short summary of Dialogue Church in it’s one year. It’s what you might have experienced had you been a fly on the wall through the 12 months. ENJOY!

About this Vagabond
...Kye is a dreamer. He is the founder of Interpression Ministries.
...He is mediocre at most of the things he attempts to do. Every day he falls short of God and His plan for his life. He constantly seeks and desires to be more like his creator. Yet, just as constant, he fails to achieve those desires or goals.
...Here, you will find his failures; his feeble attempts to mold himself into someone who is presentable to go before our Savior. You'll experience his ugliness, his beauty, his heartache. In the end, with this journey, you will share with him his pain and joy. Together, you will learn what it truly means to be a Vagabond.
Now tell me, who are you?
